I have a policy of avoiding short stories and serials but I decided to take a chance on this one. Don’t ask me why. I had a hunch and I went with it. So glad I did. This was a great read. I was really impressed with the author’s ability to give an authentic female voice. The dialogue was both realistic and interesting. There was no contrived angst and no overdose of sarcasm and wit. Humor is definitely present but it wasn’t overblown. The push and pull between Lauren and Jacob was immensely amusing. Both characters were strong. There is an air of mystery in Jacob’s business dealings. The story ended at a perfect place, without an overly dramatic cliffhanger. I look forward to the release of the next two installments.Product details

This is a seriously salacious read. Got this book for a boring plane ride and it made the plane ride go much faster. I did not finnish it in one sitting but that is just because my daughter kept on nudging me.A great escape!
It is a short story but it's just as the excerpt states , it was a good story and can't wait for more.
The story starts fast and sexy!!! I read the book in one go and felt greatly entertained. You just want to know what will happen next. Can't wait for the story to continue!

Although this is the first part of a series? It jumped right in and has great characters.... I'm really looking forward to reading what comes next....
I reviewed this once before. It is not a novel but a short story leading up to a novel. It is erotic but not too much. It is an average story with a predictable outcome. It's ok but not great. RAG
Normally as a man I don't like romantic books. However this book made me rethink my preferences, I liked the writing style of the author which kept me engaged and even though its a book with fictional characters I could take elements of it that I could relate to in my own life and learned something from it for life.
