I found Donna Ceriani's book The Real Journey to be wonderfully inspiring and thoroughly motivating in that
it made me take another good look at my life to see if there were things that I really wanted to do that I hadn't
gotten around to do yet. Things that I'd put aside with the thoughts that I had plenty of time later on and admit
I was a bit lazy. This included anything and not exclusively just looking at travel. This book was not only fun and entertaining to read, but served the practical purposes of being helpful, inspiring, and motivating in many ways. I definitely highly recommend reading this delightful book.

I really enjoyed reading Donna's book "The Real Journey." I tried to read the book with the main message in mind to Find Adventure in Everyday Living. I discovered that there are simple things I can do without having to spend too much money that bring fulfillment to my days. It might be as easy as going for a walk or eating a fun size pack of M%Ms but the thing that really resonated with me is to take action rather than just letting things happen to me. I liked the fact that the book was short and concise, not overwhelming and I liked all of the quotes Donna inserted throughout the book. Maybe the sequel to this book could be a how-to guide to finding a job which requires you to travel for work! This book was very reflective and thoughtful, almost in a conversational way, an interesting read nonetheless.
Donna Ceriani's The Real Journey is a fantastic book that will get you not only thinking - but also moving toward action - in order to incorporate positive change in your life. Donna shares her enthusiasm and energy toward leading a more fulfilling life by viewing events through the "lens of travel." Her own voice is passionate and insightful about the interesting and meaningful ways travel has had an effect on her own career and life, and at the end of each chapter she weaves in other people's stories about their own travel experiences - these too are equally rich and inspiring. I read this for the first time in one sitting, and now carry it around with me in my bag so that I can pop in and focus in on the tips Donna offers related to different aspects of our lives (Career, Personal Growth, Health, etc). The Real Journey filled me with a sense of adventure and confidence that comes from both remembering my own travel memories but also being inspired by the meaningful questions Donna asks her readers throughout the book. This book will show you that it is possible to get more out of yourself and your life just by making easy and fun changes to the way you approach the everyday. I highly recommend this great "guidebook" for starting that journey!
